That was fun! I'm not sure who's been tagged and who hasn't, so if you haven't done this challenge yet, consider yourself tagged. =)
Bible Drill
That's my trusty Bible Drill Bible! I've had it for 3 years! =D
I LOVE Bible Drill! It's a really fun way to hide God's word in our hearts. =) This is my 3rd year drilling.
Some of you might wonder how Bible Drill works. I will do my best to explain, and show an example of what we have to learn. At Bible Drill we have a pamphlet of verses and question and answers that we have to learn. An example of a question would be Who Knows My Heart? The answer is Psalms 139:23-24. That's all we have to know for the questions. =) We have to be able to look up the reference within 8 seconds. It's not as hard as it sounds. This is what we have to learn on the pamphlet.

I'm really excited about tomorrow, it's the State Competition.
The competitions work like this(There are 25 calls total, I think):
Church Drill - 12 mistakes or less to move on.
Associational Drill - 8 mistakes or less to move on.
State Drill:
2 mistakes or less - Superior and move on to Quick Drill
6-Second Quick Drill:
2 mistakes or less - move on to big statewide competition. I did it the first year, but it's too competitive for my enjoyment, and kinda far for us to drive.
Anyway, I'm really excited about tomorrow, because I enjoy drilling, and after we drill we get to play tag at the park(weather permitting), then go to The Incredible Pizza Company! The IPC is soooo awesome! It's like Chuck-E-Cheeses, but 10,000 times better! It's a Christian place with a pizza buffet, go carts, 3-D motion rides, bumper cars, and all kinds of fun games like you'd find at Chuck-E-Cheeses! I'm super excited, if you haven't guessed. LOL!
Anyway... moving on. xD
I really want to get an awesome blog theme, but I can't ever find anything I like. Is there anyone out there who would want to help me?
Sorry I haven't posted in so long. Have an awesome day!

Does it have to be KJV? I find that version a little hard to understand. XD
ReplyDeleteI use KJV and NJKV mainly. I find that in the newest versions they actually CHANGE some of the meanings!!! I was shocked. I was looking at a NIV Bible and a KJV at the same time and they completely twisted the meaning of a certain verse in the NIV version from the KJV. But yeah, I still use NIV for certain things.
ReplyDeleteBut YES! Bible drills! I'm good at those when it's in the New Testiment section! I have them all memorized except for the Old Testiment section. ;P

I've always wanted to do a Bible Drill, but never have. I agree about finding the KJV hard to understand.
ReplyDeleteBy blog layout, do you mean new background and everything? Because Qui would probably love to do yours! She just redid Amaranthine's blog. www.dandyblogdesigns.blogspot.com
Bible drill sounds fun!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cool!!!! :D Tangled is awesome, and the song thing was really cool. I like that you put Alvin and the Chipmunks. xDD
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDelete@Amaranthine - It's either KJV or NIV. The church I drill with uses KJV. =) I think I prefer King James over NIV.
@Leia - I've noticed that too. =( It's pretty sad. I have 2 Bibles, one NIV and one KJV.
Do you do Bible Drill? I actually find the Old Testament easier, everything is so close together in the New Testament. =)
@Endor I hope you can do Bible Drill some day! =)
Thanks for the link, I just placed an order! =D
@Dutchess Satine - It really is! =D
@Jedi~Chick - Thank you! I love Alvin and the Chipmunks, their songs are so cute! =)
